Berkeley: Red Mountain Tribe, 1972. Tabloid (44.5cm); newsprint, with illustrated cover in black, red and pink; 8pp; illus. Faint horizontal fold at center (as issued), with a few faint creases at the extremities; Near Fine.
The final issue of this radical left newspaper from Berkeley, published by a contingent who left the Berkeley Barb in 1969. According to the collective, the paper was a "victim of overwork, bourgeois individualism movemment slump, stale format, transient work force, no pay, declining circulation, and bad vibes." The tone of this issue, naturally, is pretty somber.
