Large octavo (26.5cm.); contemporary unsigned half blue morocco over green cloth, Art Deco spine tooled in gilt with inlays of red and brown (presumably green at one point) in the shape of poppies and leaves, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt; 341pp.; engraved frontispiece and three plates by James Fagan, tissue guards printed in red. A hint of wear to extremities, very faint bubbling to uppper cover cloth, tiny chip to spine leather, tissue guards foxed, else a Very Good or better copy in a lovely binding.
