Half black morocco over glossy black cloth, titled in gilt to spine. 173pp; [5pp] plus 115 plates with 140 engravings. A little worn and scuffed to the corners, very strong and handsome; internally clean, marbled endpapers, and some very occasional light spotting. A very good copy indeed.

Intended as a companion volume to a 13 volume set of all the artworks present in the Palais de Versailles, published between 1838 and 1849. A particularly detailed and attractive presentation.
