All items on this website should be considered one-of-a-kind and are offered subject
to prior sale. It is always advisable, especially when ordering from our printed catalogs,
to contact us to confirm availability before sending payment for an item.
Item Descriptions:
FINE is our highest grade, and is reserved for items in truly near-new
condition. By "First Edition" we mean the first printing of a book;
exceptions are always noted. We strive to offer only items in Very Good
or better condition in original dustjackets where issued. We do not offer
(or condone) facsimile dustjackets. Any restorations, alterations, or
sophistications to items in our catalogue are plainly noted. Dust-jacketed
books are sold with archival mylar jacket protectors.
Returns:
Items we sell are returnable for a full refund for any reason, within ten
days of receipt. Prior notice of returns is appreciated. Autographs and
manuscript items carry an unlimited guarantee of authenticity.
Payment:
For first-time customers, advance payment is requested. Payment may be
made by check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover,
American Express); we also accept on-line payments via Paypal.com.
Institutions and libraries may be billed. We extend reciprocal trade
courtesies to our colleagues in the trade.
Shipping: FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping on orders over $50!*
Orders under $50 ship by USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation, at
the rate of $3.00 for the first item and $1.50 for each additional item.
Overseas orders will be shipped by airmail at the rate of $17.50 for
the first item and $6 for each additional item. Extra shipping charges
may apply to sets and especially heavy items.
If you require other shipping arrangements, please contact us directly when
you order–we're generally able to accommodate any shipping request.
Shipments are generally made within 1 business day of receipt of payment,
though large orders or those requiring special shipping arrangements
may be slightly delayed.
*To take advantage of free shipping offer, orders must be made
