Collection of Appalachian mountain songs and ballads as sung by Jean Ritchie on her various iconic folk albums of the Fifties, here arranged for piano by Hally Wood Gordon. The illustrations are by Alberta Sordini, and the book was designed by Merle Armitage -- one of the great modernist designer's lesser-known works.
