A novel of family conflict by the author of the Quentin Toby mystery series. The story, set alternately in New York, Sicily, and the steel mills of Ohio, centers around the emotional conflict between a real son and an adopted son, and the sustained hatred the two harbor for each other throughout their lifetimes. Scarce; we find no jacketed copies in the trade (June, 2015), and OCLC finds 3 copies (LC, OSU, U.Louisville).
